Asian American Leadership and Mental Health
As Asian Americans, juggling family and social life, service work, and professional responsibilities, at times we can feel that caring for our well-being comes last, if at all. There can be challenges to our mental health when we pursue and take on leadership roles. Intergenerational experiences and the ways we are racialized, including the effects of the model minority myth, all come together to influence our experiences of leadership. Join us for a round-table discussion of these issues and ways to live well and support one another as we take the lead.
