W. Barksdale Maynard ’86 writes for the PAW and his fifth book is an excellent architectural history of Princeton's campus (and where the term "campus" was first applied to an educational institution). His architectural campus tour at Reunions has
developed quite a following and over 200 people attended this year.
He will be the inaugural lecturer at a series about New Jersey history, sponsored by the New Jersey Historical Society – and the lecture will be held at
Drumthwacket, the Governor’s mansion and former home of a number of
Princetonians but most notably Moses Taylor Pyne ‘1877. A rare
opportunity to visit this place many of us drive past. And if we're lucky, maybe
Chris Christie will stop by.
