As you may have seen from the University’s home page, the formal installation of Christopher L. Eisgruber '83 as the 20th President of Princeton University will take place on Sunday afternoon, September 22, at 1 p.m. on the front lawn of Nassau Hall. This academic convocation will include a procession of trustees, faculty, University officers, and invited guests; greetings to the new president by students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the broader higher education community; and an address by President Eisgruber. The ceremony and a reception immediately following will be public events open to all and tickets will not be required. At 3:30 that afternoon there will be a special concert for all members of the University community (including alumni) and their guests.
A notice about the installation will be included in Tiger E-News and we encourage alumni leaders to bring it to the attention of their classes, regions, and affiliated groups. Further information about the ceremony, the reception, and the concert has been posted on the web at www.princeton.edu/installation20. Please save the date, spread the word, and plan to attend if you can.

Pre-Rade and PA3 Pre-PreRade

The PA3 would like to invite all alumni to the annual "Pre-Rade" on Sunday September 8th.
We will congregate first at 2:30 pm at Triumph Brewery (138 Nassau Street) for some pre-pre-Rade cheer.
At 4:00 we will cheer on the "Pre-Rade" on the front lawn of campus, in front of Nassau Hall, to cheer on Princeton's newest Freshman Class of 2017 as they march from Opening Exercises through FitzRandolph Gate to start off their undergraduate experiences. It is a true celebration of Princeton spirit at the start of a new year.
The Alumni Association also invites alumni to join the Class of 2017 at Blair Arch at 5:30 p.m. for the Freshman Step Sing. Led by the Band, they will have their first opportunity to learn and sing Princeton songs.
As always, Reunions attire is encouraged.
