Screening:
Adaptive Optics for Live
Non-Invasive 3D Volumetric Imaging”
Founded in
2011, TAG Optics designs and manufactures ultra high-speed variable focus
lenses for applications ranging from biomedical imaging to laser material
processing and robotic vision. After
completing degrees in Molecular Biology and Mechanical Engineering at
Princeton, Chris founded two medical device companies in the orthopedic and
drug delivery space; he then worked at Signum Biosciences, developing new
chemical entities (NCEs) for their central nervous system and dermatology
markets. His talk will survey leading-edge
optical imaging techniques for medical applications, and then delve into specific
real-time volumetric imaging applications, such as the future of blood-borne
pathogen disorder detection, and other medical imaging modalities enabled by
TAG Optics’ technology.
