Hosts needed for undergrads, Oct 27 - Nov 1
The Princeton University Pace Center for Civic Engagement is sponsoring an undergraduate “Breakout Trip” of approximately 14 students to travel around New Jersey (Trenton, Camden, New Brunswick) from October 27 to November 1st to explore urban health care reform as a social issue.
Breakout Trips are civic engagement ventures sponsored by the Princeton University Pace Center. Justin Ziegler and Richard Lu, sophomores at Princeton University, are leading a local trip around New Jersey, and are in need of off-campus, over-night accommodations for 1 or 2 nights preferably in homes of Princeton Alumni in New Jersey during our trip to break free of Princeton's campus on October 27 - November 1st. The students will have sleeping bags, so beds are not
necessary. The students will also be able to purchase groceries and can cook for themselves (and their hosts!), though they would love to get to know their hosts as well.
They will spend the week exploring urban healthcare as a social issue, looking at how reform is inspired from an organizational perspective and a policy perspective. They’d like to learn more about the goals and challenges of each of the strategies, and how they complement each other in the process. Over the week, they will be visiting various healthcare organizations, such as the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers, as well as politicians such as Senator Gordon and NJ Health Commissioner Mary O’Dowd.
If you are able to provide overnight accommodations for around 14 students (no beds are needed, and the students can cook and buy groceries) please reply to cheryl.rowerendleman@gmail.com.Here is their schedule:

Join us at the annual "Pre-Rade"
The PA3 would like to invite all alumni to the annual "Pre-Rade" on Sunday September 8th.
We will congregate first at 2:30 pm at Triumph Brewery (138 Nassau Street) for some pre-pre-Rade cheer.
At 4:00 we will cheer on the "Pre-Rade" on the front lawn of campus, in front of Nassau Hall, to cheer on Princeton's newest Freshman Class of 2017 as they march from Opening Exercises through FitzRandolph Gate to start off their undergraduate experiences. It is a true celebration of Princeton spirit at the start of a new year.
The Alumni Association also invites alumni to join the Class of 2017 at Blair Arch at 5:30 p.m. for the Freshman Step Sing. Led by the Band, they will have their first opportunity to learn and sing Princeton songs.
As always, Reunions attire is encouraged.
